Here’s the next piece in the works. I’ve just read the original Wizard of Oz for the first time. I grew up with the movie but the book brings so much more imagery to mind. I imagine I’ll have several pieces to come from it, but here is one of the more recognizable scenes.

here’s a sketch for a new piece I’m thinking of doing. As you might notice from my work, I’m fond of dragons.
Often when I doodle, I play around with made up faces and caricatures. It gives me a sense of how emphasizing certain features can make a character look more like an actual person. I find it more fun than actually doing caricatures of actual people.
Perhaps the reason of Humpty Dumpty’s fall is now apparent?
Dragons are fun to play with.
I love the idea of centaurs. They are fascinating to me, probably because of my love of horses in general.
